General Terms & Shipping Policy

This General Terms & Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made through Matcha Ground (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) via our website at www.matchaground.com.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1. General Terms of Sale

1.1 Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time without notice.

1.2 Pricing

• All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
• Applicable taxes (HST) are calculated at checkout.
• Shipping costs are calculated separately unless stated as free shipping.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time.

1.3 Order Acceptance

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to:

• Suspected      fraud
• Pricing      errors
• Product      unavailability
• Payment      authorization failure

If payment has already been processed, a refund will be issued.

1.4 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate billing and shipping information. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses provided by customers.

2. Shipping Policy

2.1 Processing Time

Orders are processed within [1–3] business days, excluding weekends and statutory holidays in Ontario.

During peak periods or product launches, processing times may be extended.

2.2 Shipping Methods

We ship via reputable carriers such as:

• Canada Post
• UPS
• FedEx
• Other  regional carriers

Shipping options and rates are displayed at checkout.

2.3 Delivery Timeframes

Delivery estimates are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by:

• Carrier delays
• Weather conditions
• Customs processing
• Incomplete or incorrect addresses

2.4 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout.

2.5 Lost or Stolen Packages

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers should contact the shipping carrier directly to initiate an investigation.

3. International Shipping (If Applicable)

For orders shipped outside Canada:

• Customers  are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and import fees.
• We are not responsible for customs delays or rejected shipments.
• If a  package is refused due to unpaid duties, return shipping fees may be deducted from your refund.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

• Contact      us within 7 days of delivery
• Provide      your order number
• Provide      clear photos of the issue

If approved, we will offer a replacement, store credit, or refund in accordance with applicable Ontario consumer protection laws.

5. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase if not yet processed.

Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled and must follow our Return Policy.

6. Returns & Refunds 

Due to the perishable nature of matcha products:

• Opened  consumable products are non-refundable unless defective.
• Unopened  items may be returned within [14 days] of delivery.
• Customers  are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

Refunds will be processed within 15 days of receiving approved returned goods.

8. Governing Law

This Policy and all purchases are governed by the applicable laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Nothing in this Policy limits your rights under Ontario’s consumer protection legislation.
